                                      Richard Secklin

                                1986 National Gold's Classic Champion

Biography

Richard (Rick) Secklin was a competitive bodybuilder in Milwaukee Wisconsin in the early eighties. Rick won the 1982 Mr. Milwaukee, Continental USA 2nd, Central USA 2nd, in 1984 and left the area for New Mexico. There he opened Main St. Muscle, a serious Bodybuilding and Power lifting Club. In 1986 Rick won his first National Competition as the Overall winner of the National Gold’s Classic Bodybuilding Championship. Rick also competed in the 1987 National Mixed Pair placing third.
Rick also was an NPC Bodybuilding contest promoter where he successfully promoted five standing room only open competitions. Rick retired from competing but continued personally training advanced athletes and everyday mom and dads.
Following his father’s footsteps, Ray, the 1952 Mr. Wisconsin, Rick began his quest for fitness in the early 70's as a state gymnastic champion. He then became a marathon runner and ended as a National Bodybuilding Champion. Rick has been a personal fitness trainer since 1985. Rick became a writer, and the developer of NETTFIT fitness training software featured in 1996 Software of the Month.
